CLAUDIA IANNI
CLAUDIA IANNI(Italian Teacher and Business coordinator)
I graduated with an MA degree in Maths and a BA Hons Degree in Teaching Italian as a Foreign Language from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.
Since we moved from Italy in 2013, I have been enjoying working with children of primary age in Italian tuitions and lessons. I’ve always been dedicated to my role as a Tutor and I am very open to listen to what children have to say.
Supporting my two children in their learning journey in a foreign country reinforced my belief on how important it is to keep up Italian heritage and traditions and how essential it is to be bi-lingual. Lingua4kids is a great opportunity for all the children who want to be inspired by the beautiful Italian culture and language.

I graduated with a BA Hons in Conservation of Cultural Heritage, an MA in Conservation Science and a PhD in Historical Geography at the University of Genoa.
I moved to Nottingham in 2014 to start a Marie Curie Fellowship at the School of Geography (University of Nottingham), but in the meanwhile I attended a DITALS I course and developed an interest in teaching Italian as a foreign language, now even stronger through my blingual Italian-British daughter. In addition I have experience working with kids as a tutor and through public engagement activities for children such as the European Researchers’ Night and the Festival della Scienza in Genoa. I am greatful to Lingua4kids because through teaching I can preserve the Italian language and culture as a Heritage to pass on to future generations.
